Hi Jenn,
Fantastic blooms you've got there. I particularly love that bulbo Doris Dukes! Wowzer!!! It is so beautiful and well grown.
I'm not sure about that NOID vanda...it seems to be too dark to be a coerulea.

Thanks everyone.
I really appreciate the comments on my bulbo. It was one of my first few orchids!
The NOID vanda...the tag that came on it says Vanda Hybrid. How helpful...LOL I am guessing it has some coerulea parentage, but I would not think it is a species....
Thanks for looking everyone!

WOW!!! You sure have some beauties. I also have a Doris Dukes. It was a gift, and very small, but it has bloomed once with 2 blooms. I sure can't wait until mine gets that size. Good growins shows.

Thanks Marilyn. That Bublo grows really really fast! You will be happy with it. It got it around Nov. of either 2005 or 2004, and it was only about 4 or 5 growths then. Now it is in a 12" pot (if my memory is correct on the pot size)!

Hi Jen,
3 and 5 is Spa. plicata, 4 is Spa. unguiculata and the others is Spa. plicata x (with what is hard to say).
Did you find my article? Part 2 of my article will come out next week in the AOS "Orchids" December issue,
Sparkle

I am a bit confused....pic 4, 5 and 9 are of the same plant, the hybrid I am guessing.
Pic 6, 7, and 8 are different from the above listed picture numbers, but are of the same plant in each pic (ie. 6, 7 and 8 are the same plant). I think the Spa. plicata is the plant pictured in the second row (6, 7 and 8). Can you confirm?
I was not able to find the article. I have had no luck finding the magazine at all. I would really appreciate some direction so I can retrieve a copy and start getting the magazine as well! Thanks!
