I too want to see pics of the whole shade house...or as much of it as you can capture with a pic!
Hi Everyone...thanks for your kind remarks!

Howard and Jenn,

I created a thread last month with several pics of my shade house and surrounding growing areas. Those photos don't have the same plants blooming as now, but here is a link to that thread anyway:

Enjoy!

Swamper...it was indeed a very nice surprise. I have a funny story to tell about this plant. It is now about 18 to 20 inches tall, not counting the roots. I have had it for a little less than 2 years. I was going to sell it to a fellow enthusiast after it didn't bloom last spring (I thought it was a spring bloomer), because I was tired of having it take up space without putting out. I discovered that it was a fall bloomer (from an OB thread) about 2 days before the sale, so I kept it. that was last August...and I sure am glad that I hung onto it now!

Can you imagine how disappointed I would have been to have this guy come up to me in an Orchid Society meeting to tell me how well it bloomed...

Hi Suzie,

Yes, C. August's Pride is fragrant, as well as the Lc. La Selva...I tried to indicate this with the drooling smilys, but I guess I missed the mark. Oh well...
