Fascinating flower. The large spike must be spectacular.

It's beautiful. I'm always amazed at the different Orchids pictured on OB. This is a new one to me and it is wonderful.

Itīs not so difficult... I have three of them 1 in bloom and yesterday saw the big one with a spike... I think the size of the flower depend of the plant... I hope this new one will have bigger and more flowers...
The plant need a intermidiate to cold weather ( QUITO is exactly what they need.... but Quito is too high and a little dry) ... I water once a week ( depending the conditions) and I fertilize once per two weeks... and they have never been exposed to direct sun...
And thatīs all!!!!
