She is a cutie, for sure! I got her at an orchid greenhouse here in Maine called Woodsprites. They have a website but I don't think they ship out. You could ask, though. It's the second bloom for this one. Also, there is another spike coming out from the direct center of the leaves and not from the typical underside of the leaves. Might this be a keiki? Time will tell.

Uh Oh! That might be a terminal spike Kiki which could be bad news for that plant. Can you post a pic of that spike?

Your plants as always are lovely! I'm not much of a floofy orchid person but the color on that War Chant is amazing! A little floof is OK, like on the Siam Jade. I think I'll have to break down and buy that one this spring. It's been on my list for a very long time and I really love it.

.
I'm not familiar with "terminal spike" so I hope this isn't that. It has always kind of wanted to grow up out of the pot's medium, and has a great number of roots sticking out of the medium, but it has always seemed healthy other than this keiki popping up all of a sudden. What do you think? And what do you advise I do? Thanks for bringing this to my attention.

Unfortunately, it is a terminal spike. Normally this means that the plant will never bloom again and never grow any new leaves. In short, you now have a foliage plant that will slowly wither away and die. The only way to save it is to hope that a keiki will develop on the spike or that a basal keiki grows.
Let's see what others say, since I have neve had an orchid grow a terminal spike before.

It's a terminal spike alright. Bummer! All is not lost though. Often when a plant does this it eventually sends up a basal Keiki or one off the spike or both. Keep caring for it as you normally would. Hopefully the plant will take care of the rest.
