The show was great some real beauties. the problem is the guy behind the camera... lots of pictures and only a few turned out all right.

lol, same thing happens to me, but those pics are cool. Do you think the Orchid in the first pic would look good in a viv? It looks like it could fit in one.

Hey Kris, those are some great pictures.
I like that you got up close with some of them. In particular - Cat. Rosea x Cat. Dureda, love that lip pattern - very C. dowiana!

Thanks Oscarman.
the picture resolution is half the original size. As well i have some more close ups that turn out not to bad. some Paphs and what have. I have been trying to get good macros. would you like to look at the original?
Oh a little tip to the picture taking orchid lover. After you take a pick of the flower take one of the name tag. That way you will always know what it is.

I hear you. We were recently at the Foothills Show in Calgary and I got some good pics, but could not remember the names of them!!
I would like to see them, do you have them posted on the web?

the unnamed paph is almost certainly spicerianum, I'd eat my hat (if I wore one) if the unnamed phrag wasn't Lutz Rolke, and the cycnodes is Wine Delight.
Sometimes it is easy... Most times it is hard. Nice photos!
