Default The Other Two Growers mentioned

Ok, I found the websites about the other two places that I go to buy more chids here in Central FL.
These two orchid growers are both in Kissimmie.

Tom Ritter Orchids/Tropic One
2494 Neptune Rd.
Kissimmee, FL 34744
407-855-8809
407-846-3020

TOM RITTER ORCHIDS : 407.855.8809

A World of Orchids
2501 Old Lake Wilson Rd,
Kissimmee, FL 34747
407-396-1887

Welcome to A World of Orchids online!

Tom Ritters, You can walk through 3 GH's, and Purchase.
A World of Orchids, there's a Show Room full of Orchids to purchase. But no access to GH's there.

These two pics are cell ph pics from Tom Ritters.
I didn't take any from A World of Orchids.

Yes, that's Tom's Vanda room, all when not in bloom.
I took that pic about 3 months or more, when they not in bloom yet.

You're sooo very welcome David!! I thought I'd help the rest of the Chid Lova's out

I thought I shared my other Central FL secrets out too before on the Tom Ritter's, and World of Orchids.
Those directs link are in this thread too.

I would suggest anyone, if they are coming to the Central FL area for a day or so, take the time and drive, not that far apart at all. But hit ALL 3 of these, as they are all unique and different in they're own way.

Smiley's and Ritters has tons and tons of Chids, but lack on the supplies in my opinion.
But I STOCK UP at World of Orchids on Supplies!! And I buy Loads of Chids from him too!! Great place for both. But I find every supply I need from him! Family owned business for over 30 yrs!! So smart on chids!! And soooo very nice!!

All 3 of these Sellers are very wise on Chids. All three of them have been doing it 30-50+ yrs.
They are well worth the drive if you can

I saw that she is in Clermont, which is a place I once lived in when I was 18...more than 25 years ago (it was for about 5 months, and was the only time I lived outside of Maryland between the age of 12 and when I moved to southwest Florida 3 years ago). Ah, the memories!

I'm figuring that I'll have to get up there and check the place out. Do you know if there are other chid growers in that area of FL? Maybe a group of us could arrange to get together for some power shopping and lunch.

Jkelee,

Thanks for all the wonderful information and eye candy.

I'm definitely going to get a field trip together with some friends from the Naples area and head on up that way...There's nothing like an orchid field trip to exotic destinations...and most any orchid nursery that looks and sounds like Smiley's, Tom's or A World of Orchids can be considered exotic in my book!
