Default Back from glades and Fakahatchee

Well back again "SAFE" why?,,,cause the gators,snakes plus a rule out in the swamps is never hike alone ,,,oh well that last one we'll throw out the window enjoy some pics usually the same but untill they bloom .......it is what it is ENJOY,,,,mike........

not much going on out there,but I love that place its just so beautiful I mean the orchids which are only found in the wild the wild life sure keeps lots of folks ,,,,,,,well KEEP OUT the solitude being at such a bliss well the list goes on and on and on,,,,love you guys thanks 4 the comments

Have you ever thought about what your going to do if you break a leg or get bit by a snake when your deep in the thick stuff ALONE? Phone service is not the best out there. Although if I had no one to go with, I probably would go alone too.

theres been a t.v program of a older person on a kayak got bit by a rattle snake barely made it back to his truck ,,,guess what the truck stick shift he barely got in his car he did make it,,,I hope I never get into that situation but ????????????????

if leg is broken well i'll put it in a sling use that damn stuff thats always trying to scratch and tear my clothe to hell its basically survivor mode and drag and crawl if you want out if not just wait you know the car just sits out there on main road ,,,,and if bit you will most likely really go down doing the thing that I really love other than daughter wife GOD you know what I mean??????????????

i mean down 6-feet under,,,,about car hopefully they will finally come and get you my wife will beg swamper,,,rangers,,,,I shoul also give her your phone same way I would go searchin 4---you if you never report coming out,,,we'll be the best choice to go in knowing we have extensive experience in that terrain ??????what you think hiker

Absolutely!! You give her my number but it wont do much good if I don't know where you went in. If you do plan on hiking alone. There are ways to be safe too. Let someone know where you plan on going and when you expect to be back. Just imagine what it would be like out there hurt with no flashlight at night. You probably wont die, but it would truly suck. Better to be safe then sorry.
