Susie, what a wonderful job you've done in sharing your day with us! You looked very happy in the photo you posted...isn't it a wonderful place to stroll around? I'd be there way more often if i lived closer

Thanks for sharing

Thanks everyone! It's a small but very nice garden. Jam-packed with orchids. 10-20 on every tree and covering the ground, floor, and walls of the greenhouse! Even in the rafters (did you see the vanilla?). That was my daughter under that gi-normous staghorn. (Nice of you to think that was me, Sue! I wish I was 18 again!)

It would be nice if we could all meet there someday, wouldn't it?

Were you aware of the fact that the giant tree in their greenhouse is actually made of PVC pipe? I was awed by it!

My niece recently moved to Port St Lucie and we've been taking turns making the drive from coast to coast. I told her on my next trip over that way, we're going to the AOS.

Maybe we can meet there someday!

That tree is amazing! I kind of figured it must be fake (other wise it would bust right through the ceiling one day.) They did an awesome job on it! The bark is so real looking and then it is covered with so many orchids and moss. I loved being in that green house. It would make a nice bedroom!

wow... I especially like those envrionemental pictures... gives me all kinds of ideas for my tiny growing space! (one windowsill, *LOL* )

The vanilla vine makes me jealous. I have killed a half-dozen vanilla vines! I will not try another until I can get one that is atleast five feet long and very well rooted!
