Very pretty. We need smell-o-vision to be able to experience the aroma. I'm pretty sure that it smelled great !!!

Wonderful! I went to one in Dallas area quite a few years ago, before I grew orchids. They must have had them and I didn't see them. You have taken some very nice pics.

the zilker park botanical gardens has an orchid population of zero except when the orchid society meets there.

Wonderful collection. You are right - not many botanical gardens have much in the way of orchids. Has to do with interests of the staff.

there was also a cattleya in a 50 inch basket but i didn't get a picture because my camera battery died.

i'm going there again this weekend and i am wondering if there are any other orchid places there. if there is, i'm sure there will be some car jumpers.
