Just wanted to share my babies that opened up and smiled for me

Some are tagged as oncis, but I think they are tolumnias. What chu' think??

Stunning. I'm no expert on tolumnias...(don't have even one) but three and four sure do look like them

actually all the "Oncidium" posted are Tolumnias

Thank you for that! I asked the pro grower I bought them from when purchasing, if they were tolumnias, he said NO, onci's as named.

Tolumnias were in the Oncidium genus in the past, and were then separated from them. There are still discussions whether they should stay as an independentgenus or not. Many growers do not accept the genus Tolumnia and keep them as Oncidium. Other just call them Equitant Oncidium to differentiate them from the standard Oncidium. They are two very closely related genus, but have very different growing requirements. So, in other words, the guy who sold the plants to you was not wrong at all

Jkelee I likey a lot!!! They are very beautiful. I actually like Tolumnias more than Oncidiums.

Wow great Tolus Jackie! That Ralph Yagai is amazing!

Very nice mounting job too. I wish I could do mounts here. What did you use for your mounts, cork?
