This will be one of the hottest summers on record for my area So, it has definitely been a challenge keeping my orchids sufficiently hydrated and safe from sunburn. Nevertheless, they've been cranking out some awesome new growths and beautiful blooms

I totally agree, Louis! I love how this hybrid perfectly blends striking characteristics from both parents -- the lovely frilly lip from C. trianae and the striated yellow throat from C. lueddemanniana. The blooms are very fragrant, too.

Totally! The color pattern is all leudemanniana and the shape is pure tianae. I love finding the parents in the hybrids. Primaries make it easy!
