I think that is encyclia bractescens, not oncidium. A great species!

I have a Zygonesia Murasaki Komachi 'Jiaho' with 2 new growths that are pushing a total of 4 bloom spikes. First bloom for me. It was a Mother's Day gift that I received last year. Also received at the same time is Den. Fangming Jade 'Sweet' which also has a bud. It had a bit of confusion after I got it, and decided to make keikis early in the summer. Thanks for the invitation to share 'coming soon' pictures, Dusty Ol' Man.
