Dimples’s Delights
I’m going to share some photos but need to get the thread started to motivate me. In the meantime, please enjoy this poorly lit photo of terrible composition.

Today was cloudy and it rained for hours, which was wonderful, but makes for lousy photography weather when all your lamps are packed and on a truck.
My jewel orchids are in fine form this year though.

These photos are from a few weeks ago. They’re a bit farther along now. I’ll get a newer photo eventually. Lol

I’ll be adding photos and details, slowly.
All noID phals.
Light pink - was labeled “Sweet Day” at the time. The name didn’t show up in any searches the last time I checked.
All three were gifts, and the harlequin was the one that started it all. .

This one, Phal. Little Gem Stripes, is a case study in “plants grow what they want, when they want it”.
It had a setback when it lost much of the original root system, but since then…it has bloomed three times and put out two new leaves (lost a few old leaves), but it has grown very few new roots. At first I was annoyed, but it’s clearly happy. Plants grow what they want, when they want it!
