I'm not real sure what a furnace filter looks like, being from Florida....or where to get one down here, but I'm open for suggestions. As long as it doesn't restrict my airflow, it gets in the 90's in there sometimes, so airflow is vital....and that's with intake, exhaust, and a ceiling fan.

You can find them at most Home Depots. They have a box frame around the outside and a "spun" (squigly) stuff in the center. Florida or not, I guarantee most heating/A.C. contractors will know what I am talking about. Here are some references:

Permanent Washable | Furnace and Whole House Air Filters from iaqsource.com

Electrostatic Furnace Filters | $44.95 | Washable | Reusable | Air Care | Electra Gold

Furnace Filters, AC Filters, Replacement Filter: Furnace Filters Washable/Reusable

Furnace Filters and Air Conditioner Filters - BoAir

I'm sure you get the idea. Just look for reusable, as these are designed to be washed, which is what you plan to do daily
