here was the 9255 last time..
he doesnt have anymore of those listed. maybe gone forever
I do have a 9362 coming up and he does have some of them .
all of the mini catts have been excellent plants for me to maintain and get them to grow and bloom.

I will post when flowered up in a few weeks, fat bud lookin like a bug stage now.
the paph bud fell off but have 4 more coming from last years lehua grab bag. get them up too. nice looking flowers this time no mugged jaws or bent out of shape lips.
PS I dont use Superthrive n more either, First Rays is better

Amazing the difference from the last blooming.
Yep, Kelpak (or whatever you call it right now) is the best. I see the 9362 cross and just might grab one when SVO releases their next list in February!

the mini catt changed from dark pinkish to orange salmon color. this one was almost all red and is turning a burnt orange. You should all try some mini catts and fat paphs.
The Solano Eagle bloomed at work and time to take it home put it in the coffee table collection/ Now we know what it looks like..

Do you find culture for mini catts is different than for regular generic catts? or is it very dependent on the species involved?

the same as the large catts. the difference is you can get these in your windowsill and other small spaces. You dont need 9 cubic feet to grow a flower
same high light same watering outdoors. they do well under lights on the shelves along with the paphs and phals. growing buddies..
No Bench Hawgs !!!

Hehe no bench hawgs (I think I have never seen this word written before, only heard it, I admit it surprised me lol)
That is good to know. I gotta say, even though I grow in an apartment and I don't have a garden, patio nor rooftop, I love big plants and especially Cattleyas. They just look so aesthetically pleasing and especially when they are big. But it is true there are some gorgeous blooms among the mini catts and I will sure be hooked when I buy one (or even before, maybe right now ahha). I'll look into those next time I'll be buying orchids. Thanks for sharing, your coffee table colection is stunning!
