Question Thank YOU!!

Thanks for the kind words everyone!!!

I'm really Trying to get that BIG pic in the Thread that we all see, not as a link for you all to click on, like the one in my thread.

I want to do my pics Like some of this awesome ladies threads!
http://www.orchidboard.com/community...-who-wins.html

Any ideas on how many are doing this? Big Beautiful pics right up in their Threads, no link, nothing of a small icon/pic to click on to make bigger?

I see many doing it, just begging to know how

I use photobucket in combo with Adobe Photoshop. I take my digital pics and resize themwith PS (you can use any software to resize) to 1024 x xxxx and save that to my hard drive. Then go online to photobucket and upload the images. This begins your poto story. Under each uploaded image are 3 or 4 choices to "paste" your pic to respective situations. For use on this and/or other forums, select the last choice and then in the text box of your forum paste the link and when people open it, you'll have a large image. This way you can inset captions top/bottom of pics....trust this helps

Well, thanks, but I can't take the full credit because I was like you tired of posting small pics on another forum and was told about doing this way...now I can post 1024 x xxx on any site and don't have to resize for each forum....now they're all the same! But the Thanks is much appreciated

WOW! nice display!!
I am considering putting my orchids out for the summer, though I am worried about what will happend during storms. What do you do if you have a relatively windy storm? Do those orchids ever blow over?

Thanks!!

Make sure they are secure or take them inside. I lost most of my vandas to a wind storm 2 years ago. I was able to save only 3 of them from my neighbors yard. I had them on my deck, on a rack that was top heavy. Wrong thing to do.

Your flowers are beautiful and what an ideal way to display them. Good growing.

Thanks to you both for the kind words of encourage ment!
As for the winds, time will tell!! My GH is tied down. But I know the HIGH winds will take her away
I pray for that day not to come!! If I know it is in advanced, I'll be bringing them ALL indoors, where ever my head lays safely, so will theirs!!
