Stanhopea jenischiana
First Stanhopea bloom! The flowers are enormous and wonderfully fragrant of citrus/herbal. Reminded me of a clowesia fragrance. It's a shame that it only lasted a few days...
Cattleya gaskelliana
This cattleya sleeps most of the year... and suddenly sends out a new growth in mid summer and blooms immediately after completing its growth. I never know how much to water during its rest period (Which is essentially 7 months of the year...) The fragrance is delightful - sweet and somewhat floral.

Here is an F2 cross from SVO. The flowers are nicely star-shaped with a light citrusy fragrance.

Large frilly flowers with a strong citrusy scent. The sheaths rot if I get water on it and I lost one spike... another one is budding now.

Here's a fun hybrid that blooms 2-3 times a year. The roots like to dry out very quickly and mostly growing in leca/air.
Passiflora alata
These are enormous vines with large alien flowers. These always start flowering in the "fall" and have a very strong clove like fragrance. The fruits are supposed to be very flavorful but I can't get it to fruit. Maybe it needs two vines... I've tried cross pollinating with 4 other passiflora varieties but it wont take...
