paph hennisianum bloom watch
we got a bunch of paphs in fall to try them out and of the 4 that put on buds this one is the closest to an actual flower we have gotten. fingers crossed it can make it!

yes, it is still teasing us. the petals are extending, but it is still in bud! my guess is next week it will open...fingers crossed....

You could grow Stanhopeas... they open in a matter of seconds or minutes. The downside, they also don't last more than a few days, so that if you happen to not be home when they "pop" you miss the show.
