That's a pretty one!

Focus stacking is something that I have always wanted to try, but never take the time to do it. What software are you using for stacking?

hey camille,

i bought a year sub to the adobe creative cloud, so lightroom and photoshop. phew, thats another world for sure.

i tried to do a 50 frame stack or so the first time, and it crashed my computer. so for that last photo, it was 16 frames that i had to do in batches of 4 at a time, and you can see that i still have a lot to figure out. some of the petioles are really wierd but my ps skills arent good enough to fix em, hahaha

edit to say, stacking isnt that hard really, with youtube on your side (and a tripod). but yeah, as with anything (including orchids) its just about finding the limits and then learning how to maximize the effect!
