epidendrum capricornu bloom watch

been waiting soooooo patiently for this to bloom. i think it’s starting to think about it.

this is sort of a major happy time for us because this plant only seemed to with after we got it back in the late winter. thought it was gonna die, but it’s giving us a little reward for not giving up on it

finally in full bloom! 10 out of 13 buds went all the way, which we are pretty happy about with this, all things considered. but, as usual, it is really hard to capture these in pictures! the petals? are not pulling back on many of the flowers tho, so hopefully we can give it better care and get more awesome flowers next time....
