Super hot here! Is amazing how the weather have change. With the heat not enough day and night difference to push more blooms. However, I have some catts sheets and buds that I am praying won't go dry and all of others.

❤️

Hello everyone. It’s been a while since I shared anything. This fall has been special: almost all cattleyas (all hybrids) are about to bloom, and some already have. I can see, feel, and almost hear them showing me how the climate is changing. Everything seems to be either delayed or early; I’m not sure—it’s hard to understand. I’ve never had blooms or buds this late, almost in November. I have cattleyas that usually bloom in winter and others in spring, but now there’s a mix, and nearly all of them are flowering.

Anyway, I’m not sure what your thoughts are on this, but I do see a big change.

Nice growing area Sade. I haven't noticed much orchid-wise or house plant-wise with the climate, since all are grown in climate controlled house. But outside plants... oh yeah. I've seen some real changes in growth pattern of outside plants over the past ten years. We've had a lot more drought as well over past four or so years, and my water bill can prove it. Watering some plants in growing season now I would never have thought of watering ten years ago.
