great show. I've still got a few blooming from November but the next lot is starting, according to pictures I've seen mine are possibly late too but it's only just starting to get warmer here again.
My P. corningiana hybrid has started the season for me but I think it will be a staggered flowering, 3 spikes are forming, I had 9 flowers last year but only 2 on the one spike are opening this year... so either that is going back in growth which I don't think or it's gearing up to flower from all 3 spikes.

A tying shin fly eagle is producing it's first spike at mine. I think I prefer watching the buds form over seeing the finished flowers but still excited to see what they look like.

Staggered flowering isn't too bad if it indeed blooms from the 3 spikes, you'll get to enjoy the show for longer! What is the corningiana crossed with?

can't remember. But next coming along are a Bellina and a couple of violaceas.
Fingers crossed my spider mite problem has been eliminated. One phal still hanging on by a thread.

Here's my corningiana hybrid.

Looks very much like a Phal Double Eagle to me, corningiana x sumatrana.
