I was very happy to stumble across this thread. I saw this plant in your video about transporting plants to the show in your other thread, and I was wondering what this beautiful plant was called!

I'm discovering that I am a big fan of Grace Dunn and Rebecca Northen hybrids, and this is another one that I want to add to my starting collection (now 1 plant) of Catasetinae.

I agree Camille which is why I selfed this plant and hopefully can make a lot more of them with slight variation.

Thanks Jeff! Kanazawa is a beautiful Japanese city where I lived for 3 years. The 'kana' part of the name means 'golden' so for me it was a tribute to a place that made a huge impression on my life as well as tying in the color of the flower. Plus I went to my first orchid show ever in Kanazawa. So lots of meaning there for me.
