My blc bloomed. Such a cheery yellow!

It certainly has brightened my day after seeing the photo of that pair of yellow and red coloured flowers. Really nice.

Thank you all for the likes and kind words. The rest of my orchids are being boarded in a commercial greenhouse for the winter months; I decided to try that this year. I kept this one with me because I knew it would bloom soon. Also my brassalova nodosa I kept because it’s fragrance will get me through the dark winter months here.

The 2nd bloom opened today. I think it’s so interesting how the color changes from a chartreuse with purple lip to the mature orange with red lip. So much more obvious when there is a week apart between blooms.

Very nice. I used to have something similar to this, BLC? Hausermans Heirloom, but the colors weren't as bright as this.
