I grow a couple of juvenile ones, which aren't too small - but not too large as well.

I don't know how big they need to get before they flower, but recently came across a pretty good sized one, which arrived today in the post - with flowers and all!

This one is supposed to have nice fragrance ---- this particular one that is.

My sense of smell is quite good. But didn't detect anything! I'll try again in the morning heheheh.

I opened the box just before evening - and was able to take advantage of the sun (near sunset) to get some phonepics with nice sunset tones to share with everybody here.

This orchid arrived in bark - in really good condition. Now repotted into scoria.

The light yellow colour is quite relaxing and refreshing to look at.

I forgot to mention ...... Appleblossom for this cross has no space character between Apple and blossom! Slight fail on the naming there heheheh.

Also - this one just so-happened to have been ordered about the same time as my other recent arrival. But honestly - pretty much have run out of space in the growing area!!!!! So no more incoming (ok .... well .... except for a Phrag. Hanne Popow ..... coming soon ...... and that will be about it for a while heheheh).

Very lovely flower. The early evening shots are especially appealing.

One of my favorite combinations of color. Exquisite. Kinda like a Tequila sunrise, if we're talking cold beverage.

I have several clones of the cross but I've never seen one quite like that one! Every one I've seen with the exception of the Better Gro 'C' clone has been fragrant. Definitely post your thoughts on its fragrance, should it appear.

Not a great description of the imagery from DC. It was actually a perfect description from DC. Here, on a hawaii beach at the end of the day, we (here in this thread here) all sit on our nice deckchairs watching the setting sun, sipping our (your drink of choice, eg. pineapple, sunshine pine lime etc), and enjoying the setting sun. Followed of course a little later with a all-can-eat buffet.

Sure will subrosa! This morning, I did my best to take serious whiffs (for quite a while actually). Nothing detected at all!

It's possible that the flowers are still setting up for some scent ----- possible. They look like they newly opened. So will keep checking - even at other times of the day when the temperature gets higher etc.

This particular one is meant to have something ...... at least something hehehe. So just surprised that there's nothing at all detected yet - not even a tiny trace. And my nose is pretty good too. Will definitely report back when a scent finally comes out! (or hopefully comes out!!!!!).
