This is what seems to be a Miltassia.
The plant was divided in two last late spring/summer and both sides were potted. It usually blooms by late autumn / winter but this year there was a surprise, not only because it's still too early but because it was divided a few months ago.
So, it is completely unexpected.
The spike got trapped inside the leaves when it is around 1/2 meters long.
The other half of the division started to shed its leaves veru quickly, maybe in a week or so. I don't know why but I suspect that cold air drafts and a too big pot.
