It sure is Diane! The lines on the throat of dowiana really draws attention. The inherited pattern in the throats of orchids with dowiana influence and the colours really adds a lot to the visual appeal. The dowiana flowers themselves are like eye magnets hahaha ....... the line patterns are like those ones they draw for hypnosis ------ trance type patterns. Amazing.

Just quickly adding a couple more nice opened flowers pics taken this morning. Still quite fresh flowers.

Dendrobium beetles keep settling on nearby C. Caudabec Candy flowers (currently being dealt with using pyrethrum spray) - but haven't yet settled on these two orchids. So better get some pics in quick - before they possibly get nibbled on.

Google drive links (crisper pics):

Rth. Dal's Emperor 'Allan' flowers
Rlc. Memoria Crispin Rosales 'No. 2' flowers
