It's indoors behind a south window from early October to late May, and in the warmer months it's sitting outside in full sun from 2pm until sunset. I water it by filling the saucer it sits in, and it usually soaks everything up within a day. In the summer I leave the saucer empty no more than 2-3 days, in the winter I let the bulbs start to show a few faint wrinkles before watering again. Soaking or otherwise moving it to water it in a more normal fashion is now out of the question seeing the size of the plant. Once it a while I give it a good flushing, which is easier to do when it's outdoors in the summer.
I have given up on repotting it, I don't see much medium left in the pot and it's a solid mass of roots. I don't dare chuck it into a larger pot with some leca because the plant then responds by growing even wider... Keeping it pot bound seems to encourage a bit more vertical growth rather than horizontal.
