blooms and identification

Dear friends, after a long pause to OB due to the work im back!

Some new orchids are now in my collection and these are the blooms:









And these are my "old" orchids that every year surprise me more:







the Coelogyne now had 15 spikes in bloom







This plant has start to bloom the 15th of November (now more than 4 months in blum...this is the 2nd spike)












And this is the plant there I'm not able to identify (someone could help me?) the name in the photo is temporary waiting the right one:

Your plants are just gorgeous...and I need to know what conditions the Pleione formosana f. alba 'Polar Sun' takes because I just fell in love!

Hi Susanne, the plant is very easy to grow:
in late summer/fall, when leaves turn to yellow stop waterings and place the bulb in a cold room (10° C could be ok).
In the late winter/spring the new growt starts to appear and first the plant blooms.
At this time you can light vaporize the surface of the medium.
When blooming end, the new growt start to produce roots and when they are half mature and roots enough long (I think about 4 cm.) you can begin to water normally until next fall.

Great collection.
I like the alba variety of P. Pleione formosana. Though it is a native species in Taiwan, the alba is seldom found in the habitat.

Pheli, nice to meet you...the mother of my wife is Taiwanese, so we have more common things over orchids. I have another native orchid of your Country: the Haraella retrocalla. Probably I will be in Taiwan next august.
