Default Den hybrid in bloom

This is one of my favorite Dens (Dendrobium Spring Bird 'Kurashiki'). Easy to grow, compact, floriferous, and has a delicate floral fragrance. The flowers are initially pink and the yellows gradually appear, making it a peachy hue. Flowers last for a few weeks.

I had this in the shade this year and it didn't flower as well.

Very pretty. Do these plants like lots of water or pretty dry?

They don't need a "lot" of water while in active growth, but do require a drier winters rest period after the new growths have matured. Also ample light.

These are forgiving in terms of watering - dry or wet.

I've never given any of my Den nobile hybrids a "rest" and they flower well. But yes, they seem to love sun though!
