Well, my Phal Summer Rose is still kickin' it strong. And my Den PewPewPew is on it's fourth go-round of spikes this year. It's a blooming machine.

This one's more true to color of the bloom...

This Phrag Grande should be in DC's thread of Flowers that Look Good Dead, or whatever it's called. I went up to take a picture of it with three blooms on the spike. Snoozed and loozed... only one still hanging on.

Only one remaining...

'til next time Grande (They take FOREVER to produce a new spike. And I take a terrible picture of this plant... impossible.)

Thanks Roberta... I wish you could take the picture of it. Parts of it are actually a hairy little beast, but I can't capture it with my cell phone. It takes forever to get a new spike, but once the bloom is on it lasts an amazingly long time for something that looks so fragile.

Consider a macro lens for your phone, something like this:
Amazon.com
They're pretty cool for getting the close-ups.

Roberta… I’ll check it out. But I’m not very savvy on that stuff!
