First bloom and I love it! Three flowers on its first run which is, apparently, pretty normal. It can only get better from here! (As long as I don’t kill it...)
I have had this one since 2017 when it was still in a little 2” pot. I put this in a basket two years ago and have been growing it moderately bright year round. It hangs below the Cattleyas and gets a little less intense sun and more dappled light. Winter I reduced water, letting it dry a few days between, and I have been keeping it fairly warm in the greenhouse, temps about 80°F day/ 60°-57°F night. It stays outside in the summer, doesn’t ever dry out, and gets heavily watered daily.
A little bummed I wasn’t able to get a picture with all flowers open but I see three new growths starting, so hopefully that means there will be more to come in the following months. I have another limminghie seedling and really want to find a Chysis aurea if anyone knows where to get one
