The width of both the petals and lip are pretty distinctive. What do you think the rough lineage is?

i could not venture a guess. i dont know the species well enough

I see nine buds so far...and yes, she lives in dirt in a plastic pot with a palm tree and an umbrella plant, just as my wife found her in the trash

great texture on the flower...all of the parts are interesting which is all i can ask of a plant.

and this half (grown in more sun) smell exactly like Big Red gum.. cinnamon in YOUR FACE
