Gotta be honest with you Mister Coconuts, every time I see one of your posts I enthusiastically click on it but if there are images I inevitably bail out before finding out what it’s all about. Could you consider downloading something like the EasyResize app and cutting down the size of your images, because those of us who live in the country with the world’s 49th best internet service have major problems viewing your posts.

Not trying to be rude or trolly here, I’d just like to be able to read your posts and share in the fun.

Of course I do realise that after 25 years of internet usage my attention span has been reduced to ridiculously short limits so it’s probably me that is the problem. I can’t do anything about that, though.

Cheers
Arron

Hi Arron! I think that DC within this thread here has limited the image size to roughly the OrchidBoard max size images.

He did previousy link the huge size images before, but knows that the biggest size images can take a while for some people to download. I think recently his latest pics are either relatively small images, or he has re-configured settings for max picture size.

I personally quite like big images - but definitely know where some people are coming from too heheh. I noticed recently that DC has gone out of his way to address the issue with big pics. Download time and mobile phone data quota and/or cost can be an issue. But all sorted now I think!!

Hi Aaron. I was previously embedding the images at full size but others mentioned it and now I link them as 600x800 which should be small enough to load and fit but still be visible. And one can click for the big pic if you want to see some tiny detail

I’m on my phone now but I’ll post a new pic for you to see if it is better and I’ll pm you to check it out

I really post so everyone can share and talk so I hate to exclude anyone ever

And it looks like I may have been out of line - as it seems you had already addressed the issue (as South Park points out).

My mistake - or litany of mistakes. I saw the first post in this thread and read the date with month and day reversed (ie anticipating I should read it as the American date format) - therefore thinking the date was 1 July 2020. Then I mistook the current month for July. Then, as I never know what the day is (and don’t need to) I assumed we couldn’t be many days past the start of the month, so therefore the first post must be just a few days old.

Clearly, I was not at my best.

Totally no issue here

I am just glad that this size works, and seems to please all.

I am strongly against thumbnails lol

Oh, and quite right, this is a thread from January. I just don’t like to clutter the forum when there is already a thread on point
