Beautiful but I noticed your Phal's leaves seem a little limp.

Those are all very nice! As someone who grows only Phals, I especially like your Phal. Ambionensis 'Texas.'

I am no expert when it comes to phals and only have a few. The leaves seem fine to me in terms of rigidity and color. I believe I read somewhere that Ambionensis have arching/pendant leaves but could be very wrong.

I'm not an expert either, but I'm learning about the summer-blooming Phal. species, and one thing I noticed right away was how different the leaves can look from the winter-blooming hybrids I was used to. I have several now and it took some getting used to the more pendant leaves, but it is normal.

1. I love anything that is Daisy Chain related. Those are such little powerhouses when it comes to blooms. Such a cute flower

2. The mounted Catt is adorable! The color combo is great and it looks super healthy

3. I need to get one of those Phals. I much prefer the star shaped flowers and also the pendant leaves on the summer bloomers. Is yours fragrant?

Thanks SaraJean! Yes, the Catt loves it there and is actually now root bound to the wall.

Yes, the Phal is fragrant but not in a pleasant way to me. Can’t really describe it, like burnt rubber and musk.
