This is an unfussy little plant. The flowers only last a couple of weeks, but it's been in continuous sequential bloom for a couple of months.

What a lovely little Phal.! Can you share a bit about your growing conditions? I've had my eye on a Phal. tetraspis or hybrid of same but have been concerned that they need more warmth and humidity than I can provide.

Thanks! I do grow mine on the warm side for sure. Low 70's at night and about 80-82 F during the day. I hear that these tolerate a range of temperatures fairly well, but definitely prefers warmer. Humidity in the area where I grow it isn't high at all (40% average), but I have it potted instead of mounted. It doesn't seem to mind. There hasn't been any bud blast or other signs of problems because of my humidity. The light I use is slightly higher than typical phalaenopsis levels.

That's gorgeous - I love the shape. Looked it up - also known as Phalaenopsis Freckle Baby - I need to find a European supplier.

Thumbs up

This hybrid is wonderful and doesn't resemble a typical Phal. I've tried growing both but as you said the temps could have probably been warmer for success. Oh well...!

Those freckles! Also, love the shape. I wouldn’t mind adding one of these to my collection at all
