I am done with this back and forth weather, 80F on one day followed by 50F the next. I am ready for the heat so I can take off the greenhouse cover and get everything back in order. Here is whats been going on since late February
Dendrobium densiflorum, probably my favorite of the section Callista. It blooms no matter how I treat it over the winter- cold, warm, water, no water, high light, moderate light... It still booms. Light, sweet fragrance

Dendrobium jenkinsii. This made a good recovery after almost killing it last year! Easy to bloom with just a slight chill for a few weeks. The lowest temps this saw was 55F. Gave it a light little spray of water once every week or two, no fertilizer, and brighter light.

Dendrobium convolutum. Super easy going Latouria Den that I grow just like the atroviolaceum below. I have a few more flowers on a second spike opening and a third spike developing now. Its still a very young plant in a 2" pot.

Dendrobium atroviolaceum. I like how bright these are when they first open with background fading to cream over a few days and the violet remaining just as intense. Just gave typical Latouria care, good light and lots of water, no real rest period as it tends to grow year round. I still cant get my Den. spectabile to bloom, btw. There will be little nubbins and the start of spikes , but then they shrivel:/

Dendrobium amethystoglossum. First round of blooms for this year with 12 spikes, I usually get a second round a month after the first. Little bit of a winter rest for this one. No fertilizer, reduced water (i do every other week or so), kept it a bit brighter than I do in the summer, and let it get to at least 55F (can handle into the 40's F). Semi deciduous, one week flowers, no fragrance, but very beautiful

I think these are the last of my Cattleya walkeriana blooms for this season. Had some bud blast on a few of them after a few were too close to the draft from the door. lesson learned. I don’t give these a winter rest like I have seen some people mention. I stop fertilizing after the new growths fatten up and I give it higher light in the winter but I don’t really reduce the amount of water. They are all grown in open baskets in a combo of EpiWeb and lava rock, so drying time is no issue even in the winter. I could live in the greenhouse when these are in bloom, they're VERY fragant

Cute little Leptotes bicolor 4n. Wee plant, big flowers. So far this has been pretty easy to grow. First bloom with 2 spikes holding 2 flowers each, next round should be better with how many new growths are starting to pop up. I have been growing this with my other Catts and I will be mounting it soon. Lightly fragrant

Bulbophylum jacobsonii fma. flava. (accepted name Bulb. plumatum?) A VERY low light bulbophyllum. Had this in higher light with my other bulbos and it stalled. Moved in in between some pots and shaded by several leafy Dens and Catts and it took off. Cool flower that straightens out after a few days and lasts about a week. No "fragrance"

First two Sarcochilus to open this year. Both are from Sunset Valley. The red one is darling and very intensely colored, the spotted one has much larger flowers with very good form. Still trying to figure out the best way to grow these in the heat but I’ve had good results in bark or a collar of spagnum moss as long as it’s in a clay pot. Grown shady and watered daily in the summer, a bit brighter with slightly less water in the winter. Love this genus
