Phalaenopsis Chia E Yenlin 'Horng Lin'
One of my favorite little mini Phals. I just love the color and the spots, and it always has a lot of flowers (about a dozen) on the spikes. Occasionally it will bloom twice in one year, although not always.

Very nice-looking little Phal. It's on my wish list.

I got it from Hausermann, although that was several years ago, so I don't know if he would still have it, but you could check there.

It's hard to tell, depending on the device each of us is using to look at photos online, but yours looks kind of magenta colored to me. Would you say that's accurate? In the photo on the Hausermann's site, the flowers look very dark purple, but others photos I see online of this plant seem to be a little more dark pinkish, maybe a cross between purple and pink.

The pictures I posted are pretty accurate, when it is in bright light. In less light, it looks more purple to me. I'm looking at the listing on Hausermann's website now, and I see what you mean about the color looking slightly different from mine. That could be the light, or it could be that growing conditions affect color, and the plant grown by me might have a slightly different color from the same plant grown by somebody else. However, I see that the Hausermann listing doesn't have a clonal name, so it is also possible that there are multiple clones of this grex available, and the ones Hausermann has now are not the same as the one I got from him a few years ago, or that they are seedlings and not clones. That being said, however, the size and the spotting and such are similar enough to mine that I suspect that they are probably the same.

Thanks! Hausermann's is coming to the Michigan Orchid Society show in two weeks, so I'll have to think about maybe ordering something ahead and having them bring it to the show, or else just choosing something nice from what I know will be a really good selection at their vendor's booth.
