Trisetella hoeijeri
I am so excited that I bloomed this one! I have it growing in a vase that is covered on the top, but has a hole in the side. It sits in my kitchen window that is southern facing, the top of the vase is covered to prevent it from getting too much sun.

Thank you for the kind words! I agree that the tiny orchids are interesting! And they're even a bit more addicting than their big counterparts because more fit into a growing space!

Awesome!!!! I love this one, hope one day I will add to my collection and provide as good care as you do to bloom it. The bloom is just amazing, like a flying bird! And so big for such a small plant, congrats!

Thank you so much for your thoughtful comment, Tommy! I have seen many pictures of this plant in bloom, but it really is interesting to see how big the flower is in relation to the plant. I had to keep rotating it in the vase, so the flower had enough room to open.

Oh wow ... interesting ... but it seems to grow better in your hands ... I don't call myself 'orchid killer' for nothing.
