Oooh, it reminds me about a Paph. gratrixianum and I'm weak towards that species.
Beautiful, Rosie and very nice pics too!

Wonderful bloom! I'm just getting started with paphs and my first one is in bud now. I hope it's as nice as yours.

Nice one!! And the pics are great. Does it bloom from the same spike, or you got 2 separate spikes?

That's a lovely one Rosie. How long do the solitary bloom paphs last? I have a Maudiae which I can see is slowly developing a spike-I have been peeking into the base of the crown and I can just make out that there is something about to emerge. I have always had sequential ones before so this is my first mono bloom.

Different spikes. I think this one only has one flower per spike.

This one seems to be lasting a good 6 weeks+ though I have to admit I didn't make exact records of it. I've had a Maudiae last 3 months on one flower in the past.

Thanks for the comments everyone. Slipper orchids are my favourites and I'm really glad I've managed to re-bloom this one.
It's one that has a mass thin fans (too many to count) and I've not really been sure if it was growing as it's more difficult to keep track than with those that just have a few fans. Seeing it flower encourages me that I'm doing something right
