Default Stanhopea reichenbachiana

This flower is astonishingly beautiful and the fragrance is sooo strong and wonderful that it has taken up residence next to my computer (where I work most of the day) so I can smell it constantly for the next few days that its open. I was very surprised to see a spike coming from this plant as it is only in a basket that is 4"x4" and is fresh out of a 2" plastic pot. Tropical Orchid Farm is right when they say that these guys are their most floriferous Stanhopea!! Anyway, enjoy! I know I do!!

FYI- In case you are thinking about buying from them, I got an email a few weeks ago saying that they will be having a sale soon, so you might want to put off any purchases until then. Ive actually been thinking of calling them for the exact date 'cause Im gettin ancy!

I guess they are mailing out the sales packets this Wednesday or Thursday, though it will take longer to get the website updated. I would just keep looking or put yourself on their mailing list.
