The 48th annual North Jersey Orchid Society Show and Sale is Friday January 16 through Sunday January 18 (Fri-Sat 9 AM-6 PM, Sun 9 AM – 4 PM) at the Strawberry Blossom Home & Garden Center in Wayne NJ.

Come and enjoy spectacular orchid exhibits showcasing plants grown in homes and greenhouses across the tri-state area.

Free admission, free parking, and twice-a-day drawing for a free orchid.

Workshops are scheduled to show you how you can grow orchids in your home.

Renowned orchid vendors will be on site selling plants and supplies.

I had such a good time last year...A friend and I are planning on coming again this year. My birthday money is burning a hole in my orchid pocket!!!!!

Carrie! That is so sad!

Last year I was able to get a max. variabilis from Ten Shin and that little thing has done so well. But this year I have my eyes on a yellow paph because I was able to re-bloom my first paph this year (a maudiae) and my delenatii alba has a beautiful bud unfurling. I think I have been bitten by the paph bug. But then those Lycastes look so beautiful...Oh! I want them all!!!

I will introduce myself if I spot you there! I will be the one with the wild-eyed look

Well, there will be plenty of Paphs, with Piping Rock, Marlow & yours truly. For species afficionados, I have gotten hold of some OZ charlesworthiis (both std & alba).
