Confirmed that next year (2016) SEPOS will be April 1-3 at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks PA. For me, as a non-driver, that means riding a train plus a bus to get there, but it's better than Longwood Gardens shows, which were virtually unreachable by public transit. I'd been spoiled by the Academy of Natural Sciences location the past 3 years, which is about a 25 minute walk from home.
Was a little disappointed this year that Seed Engei had to cancel, due to conflicting shows. Also noticed Piping Rock wasn't there, even though listed. I believe there were a couple other vendors that didn't make it this year too, as the upstairs sales room was largely empty with a only handful of vendors around the periphery. Still a lot of GREAT vendors though. Show continues today till 5pm.

Really? As a driver and former long time resident I despise having to go into the city (more specifically having to park there) for any reason whatsoever. The Expo Center is about a 15 minute drive, and not far from the best bbq I've had above the Mason Dixon Line. This is wonderful news!

I plan on going this weekend! Just an FYI to those who are attending, I believe the gun show is happening at the same time and from what I hear the lines to get into the expo center during gun shows are outrageous.
Speaking of the Longwood sale, does anyone know if that is worth going to? I will have to take off work to make it there on the first day (tomorrow) and its over an hour drive for me. I assume all the good stuff will be gone if I wait until Saturday to go to Longwood.

Planning to go on Saturday for just a bit; have to drive there and back day-of. This week has also been a bit disrupted so we'll see if I make it.

I'm going Friday to get the best selection from the vendors.

I don't know if you wound up going today, but I personally didn't think it was worth it. I showed up about 2 hours into the sale and it was very crowded. They didn't have any slipper orchids left. They only had a handful to start, since the gardener kept all the phrags and most of the paphs. They had mostly large noid phals (mostly solid white or violet), some oncidium (a few with tags, most without), some vanda (brown) and a few dendrobium (without flowers, but with tags). If I had arrived earlier, there may have been a better selection, and as I stood deliberating, the non-Phal choices got noticeably smaller. Someone commented that they thought they'd all be gone by tomorrow. I will probably not go again next year, but I did buy a couple plants.
I plan to go to the show on Saturday.
