Ordphien, there's a show put on by the Newport Harbor Orchid Society on February 7-9 at the Westminister Mall. It's usually a large show with many vendors. You can probably order before you go so you can just pick things up and save on shipping. I usually go by myself because I can take as long as I want. It's so busy you won't be confronted by anyone. I think there's lot of people in your same situation.
