NCOS show at Behnke Nursery in Beltsville
Hello,
Did anyone here attend the NCOS show today? I don't know if I can attend (I have a bad sinus cold) and was hoping to see some pics.

I went with my sister, will see about posting some pictures. Dont know how many she took. I have never been to an orchid show, but I thought it was kind of small. Is it always that way?

Not sure what all you want in pictures, like group shots or close ups of individual ones. But this is what I got.  Have more but not trying to put them all up here. |

Thank you for posting the pics. Between my cold and the drive, I'm not going to be able to go. Was there a sales tent? I always love those.

Yes there was maybe a dozen vendors there. Including a lady who made ceramic orchids. They were beautiful, my husband thought they were real until he got closer. I had hoped more selection and variety would be there but oh well. (I tried to upload more pictures but it wont let me, IDK if I posted too many already or what.)

This was the show that was scheduled to take place at the National Arboretum but had to switch due to our government shut down. I think some vendors and some clubs dropped out because the new location was probably a lot further away than the Arboretum.

Yes that is the one. I had thought that might be the case. Even though I live in Virginia, I preferred the drive to Maryland as opposed to DC. Behnke's was easy to find and appears to be a very nice garden center. And one of the attendants told me they have been very helpful and generous to the NCOS over the last few years. But especially this year.
