Ecuagenera Visting Central Ohio Orchid Society Oct 17
Pepe Portilla of Ecuagenera will be speaking at the Central Ohio Orchid Society in Columbus, OH on 10/17/13.
The meeting will begin at 8PM at the Franklin Park Conservatory and is free to the public.
Pepe will be bringing pre-order plants, if placed through 9/28. Please see the Ecuagenera website.

So make sure you let us know how it goes. Pepe has some amazing plants, make sure the flask is well developed if you buy a flask.

People usually start arriving between 7 and 7:30pm and the talk will begin at 8pm.
Come join us for an evening of orchid chat, refreshments, and a little orchid shopping. What could be better than an evening filled w/orchids?!
Pepe will be talking about...The Orchids of Southern Peru!
Franklin Park Conservatory - in the classrooms downstairs.

It was a GREAT evening!! A good turn out for Pepe and he gave an extremely interesting talk on the orchids of Ecuador. LOTS of in situ pics!!
And...he brought a TON of plants for sale. Something for everyone.
If you weren't able to make it last night but are interested in buying from Ecuagenera and/or hearing him talk...he'll be in Dayton, Ohio for the Fall 2013 Mid-America Orchid Congress this weekend. It's being held at the Dayton Art Institute and runs Saturday and Sunday.
If you're in the area...you don't want to miss it. Lots of orchid vendors! Lots of amazing displays! And, for those who'd like to register for the talks...some really amazing speakers!
