Fern & Exotic Plant Show/Sale At LA Arboretum

The Fern and Exotic Plant Show and Sale is this weekend...June 8/9 from 9am to 4:30pm...at the Los Angeles Arboretum.

It's a really great show if you're interested in seeing and purchasing unusual/exotic/rare/tropical plants. Andy's Orchids will be there as well as many other vendors.

You won't see this orchid at the show though...

...that's because, as you can see, it's growing on my tree. Every tree should have at least one orchid.

You can grow orchids on trees! Just not very large orchids or very large trees. Not very large trees are also known as "bonsais". For example, here are some miniature orchids on a Crassula "bonsai"...
