Parkside SummerFest Canceled??!!

Oh no! Can anyone tell me why Summerfest was canceled at Parkside? I heard the new owners ruffled some feathers at PHS. I am sooo dissappointed!

Where did you get that information and what is the connection with PHS? It's still listed on Parkside's events page.

Friday 12 noon - 7 p.m.
Saturday 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Sunday 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Join us as we celebrate orchids at the Parkside Orchid Summer Fest! Orchid vendors from throughout the area will be at Parkside to sell plants and other orchid accessories. In addition, we will be scheduling educational lectures during the day and AOS plant judging. And, there will be food!

Is the source of the rumor an outdated page on the Manhattan Orchid Society site? Notice that all the dates on the MOS events page are 2010. I believe the Fest may have been put on hold back then, but since resumed.

Hmmm, strikes me as interesting that an apparently false rumour is the first and only post from someone who registered here just today.
