Memphis Orchid Society 5/17-19

Hi All,

If you are in the Memphis Area during the weekend of May 17-19, 2013 please come and visit our show. It is at the Memphis Botanic Gardens.Memphis Botanic Garden | Memphis, TN

It is the same weekend as the Memphis in May World Championship BBQ Contest so plan your hotel or find a friend to bunk with cause there will be an estimated 100,000 people descending on Memphis for the festival.

We will have a great lineup of orchid vendors (usually 5-6) and they usually give discounts for pre-orders. If anything, you save on shipping.

Last year we had:

Tom Harper / Stones River (Phalaenopsis)
Russ Vernon / New Vision Orchids (Phalaenopsis and Odontoglossoms)
John / Clown Alley Orchids (Dendrobiums / Cattleyas / Oncidiums / Others)
Sam Tsui / Orchid Inn (Paphiopedilum / Phragmipedium / Flasks) - didn't come last year, but maybe this year.
Earl Bailey / ORCHIDbabies (Paphs/Phrags) - no longer traveling to shows)
Marilyn LeDoux / Windy Hill Gardens (Paphs / Phrags) - not sure if she is coming.
Pat / Orchids Plus (Miscellaneous / Bare Root deals)

I know that Clown Alley and Orchids Plus are coming. I'll check at our next meeting and post the other vendors.

Can you tell me if the vendor list is available? We are thinking of driving down from St. Louis for the weekend, but would like to know which vendors will be attending. Thank you!

Only 4 vendors this year. One vendor had a family emergency.

The Orchid Gallery -lots of cool growers.

We'll have a bit of everything except not a lot of Paphs or Phrags this year.
