Hmm seems like an excuse to go to the beach!
Wow, in ten years I should have some real stunners! Not to mention some of my own crosses starting to bloom out! I have some really awesome seedlings!

How were the shows? I just returned from the North Shore show (Strongsville, Ohio). I bought a sedirea japonica (the other had a terminal spike so it needed a friend), a zygo Kiwi, and an angraecum elephantinum. It was a great day!
Hmm, didn't find anything on my list but who cares?

That's great! How were the exhibits?
The MOS shoe was FANTASTIC!! I got to meet up with a few friends and we had a great time! For most of the day I was behind the Fishing Creek booth, I love interacting with customers!
I picked up a Phal. Taida Pearl ($25 from The Little Greenhouse), Phal. javanica in spike ($20 from Seagrove Orchids), and Phal. equestris ($12.50 from Seagrove orchids)
The thing about the P. equestris is that it has VERY round leaves, different than any other equestris I have ever seen. Linda (owner of Seagrove Orchids) and I decided that it will be spctacular when they bloom (they are seed grown) and the uber round leaves means it will be really different flower wise!

I love my little phal equestris. Good choice. Mine has the more oblong leaves. The exhibits were nice but I guess I was more interested in my zygo, sedirea (in bloom!), and my new angraecum.

Hope you do have something really special in that phal!

The Denver show was a disappointment. Considering the state was hit by a blizzard today I won't judge the show based on what I saw but it wasn't all that impressive.

It's ok. Nature had her own plans for today! A foot of snow and 50 mph winds is impressive in its own right.
